No Justice for Afghan Women

Sometimes a documentary needs to tell a story for which no footage exists, and interviews alone can’t fully convey the message.

In this project, the women featured had endured unthinkable horrors, and the team sought to communicate the gravity of their experiences. To protect their identities while maintaining emotional impact, we used animated, energetic paint strokes over their faces, novel and thoughtful approach.

Grace’s painterly, humanist solution brought depth and emotion to these painful stories, elevating the film and keeping viewers deeply engaged.
