This film examines the crucial time between Trump urging the crowd to march on the Capitol and finally telling them to go home. Using footage from that day—alongside the cable news coverage he reportedly watched—this piece explores the experience of those involved as the constitutional order hung in the balance.

For this documentary, we needed to create a complex design system of mortises (or windows) to display vertical and horizontal video simultaneously.
Since all displayed video was synced to the clock, and the crime scene was essentially reconstructed in real-time, we needed to have many options to show video on screen simultaneously.
Additionally we wanted to opportunity to ID people in the crowd and display the charges they faced, as well as options to show social media, text messages and other text on screen.
We also created an animated title sequence and bumpers.
