Journalist Hind Hassan, examines frankincense harvesting in Somaliland, exposing over-harvested trees and middlemen exploiting farmers. This film highlights the need for companies to work directly with harvesters and urges consumers to scrutinize corporate sustainability claims.
For this title sequence, Paige crafted beautiful animations, meticulously separating the leaves and branches to be rigged using a script called AFP Hair Rig. Originally designed to simulate wind blowing through animated hair, the script was repurposed to bring the illustrated foliage in the documentary's subject to life.
After the music track was selected, edited, and mixed to fit the sequence, the pacing of the cards was timed, and transitions between them were animated. Raquel added the finishing touches, enhancing the typography and graphic design to complete the look.
